Covering Barossa Valley, Gawler, Clare Valley, Riverland and Murray Bridge areas and more......
You can start your holiday, as soon as you take delivery of your camper trailer, right here in the beautiful world known Barossa Valley.
Whether it’s over a meal at any of the remarkable cafés or award winning restaurants, (even the local pizza café in Angaston is an Australian medal winner), such as 1918 in Tanunda or the iconic Maggie Beers. Or by a wine tasting at the numerous world known wineries, both the large and smaller family owned, which sit nestled amongst the ever changing symbolic vines. Or if an opportunity to drift over the scenery in a hot air balloon with Barossa Balloon Adventures appeals, for the even more adventurous a helicopter ride with Barossa Helicopters could be your style; it’s all there for you and your family to sample before you spread your wings to explore further a field. Make a point though not to miss the Barossa Vintage festival, held every two years.
Once you have sampled the Barossa where to next? Maybe the Clare Valley or a short drive in another direction onto the remarkable Riverland.
Where you can set up your Johnno’s camper trailer at any of the numerous camp sites and townships dotted along the majestic Murray River. The children of the house (both large and small), may enjoy a visit to the famous Monash playground or an opportunity to enjoy fresh mandarins and oranges straight from the growers.
Other compass directions the navigator may take, can lead you to explore other regions further a field, such as the beautiful Flinders Ranges. With its family friendly camping sites, native wildlife, 4 wheel drive tracks, hiking tracks, National Parks and historical townships and ruins.
From there then it can be onto the opal fields of Coober Pedy or the historic mining town of Broken Hill, before you venture onwards to the amazing outback where depending on the time of year you may find a carpet of wild flowers.
For those who love the beach, there is always the famous Coorong made an Australian icon by a pelican called Mr Percival. There is also the Yorke Peninsula, with Moonta a part of the copper triangle, at the top and Edithburgh along its lower coastline to explore. Kangaroo Island may also appeal where there is an opportunity to walk on the beach amongst the sea lions. Or a trip down Mount Gambier way where a bit of cave exploring can occur.
